Tetramorium immigrans can be described as the bane of native ants. This species is monogynous, and yet has the capabilities to grow even faster than Formica. These ants are especially good at surviving when resources are scarce, and when said resources are readily available, they dominate. Their flights are massive too, in which colonies release thousands of alates. Tetramorium immigrans is a great beginner species, due to their fast growth, ability to survive in neglect, and their tendency to eat anything. They can either be founded as single queens, or with multiple, please be aware that if founded this way the workers will kill all but one of the queens. (Rarely they kill all, so no promises)
